The Celebration of Life for Mr. Roy K. Alex, 71, of Orange, will be Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11am at St. Paul C.M.E. Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11am.
Roy Kent Alex was born in Orange, TX, July 2, 1955, to Alma (Roberts) Alex and Henry Alex, Jr. He died July 3rd at his residence.
Raised and educated in Orange, he was a 1973 graduate of Stark High School.
He grew up in the Baptist faith and was employed by Solvay Chemicals. A Process Operator, he retired after 35 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Treaster Alex of Orange, son, Todd Alex (Leah) of Orange, three daughters, Trekendria Jones of Orange, Aleisha Blanchard (Jamie) of Mount Belvieu, TX and Porsha Collins (Cory) of Humble, TX, two brothers, Henry Alex, Jr (Sarah) of Beaumont, TX and Robert Alex (Elma) of Missouri City, TX, two sisters, Norma English and Ethel Hobbs, both of Houston, TX, and 6 grandchildren.
