The Toronto Blue Jays made a roster move Tuesday ahead of their game in San Francisco.
The club recalled right-handed reliever Chad Dallas from Triple-A Buffalo and optioned outfielder Yohendrick Pinango to the Buffalo Bisons in a corresponding move.
The transaction restores Toronto’s roster balance to 13 pitchers and 13 position players while right-hander Braydon Fisher remains away on bereavement leave.
Dallas, a fourth-round pick by the Blue Jays in the 2021 MLB Draft, made his major league debut on June 4 in a 7-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves. He tossed 3.2 innings, allowing one earned run on two hits while striking out two batters. He was optioned back to Buffalo on June 19 after not making another appearance with the big league club.
