Novellene “Novie” Ansley Grider passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones.Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM this Sunday, August 23 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas. We welcome friends and family to gather at any time starting at 1:00 PM to visit, view, and share memories. Services will be followed with processional to burial at Toledo Bend Cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Bob Grider; her daughter Mistie (Andrew) Edmondson of The Woodlands; grandchildren Aubrie Edmondson, Sophia Edmondson, Sam (Candice) Webb, Will Webb, Olivia Webb, Thomas Webb; sisters Ann Boullion, Debby (Steve) Hall; great-grandchildren Scarlett Webb, Violet Webb; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her loved ones which predeceased her are her son Scott Webb; parents John and Margie Ansley; brothers Glen Ansley, Phil Ansley, Clint Ansley; and sister Johnnie Ruth Ansley.
