Jerry Dean Roberts, 75, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2026. Jerry was a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, and spent his final years enjoying life on Crystal Beach, Texas.
Jerry was born on March 23, 1951, to Ray and Lois Ruth Roberts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Roberts.
For many years, Jerry owned and operated RJ Auto Supply, a NAPA Auto Parts store in Vidor. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work and in being someone others could depend on.
More than anything, Jerry loved spending time with the people around him. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, whether gathered around a campfire, spending time on the beach, or simply enjoying good conversation. He had a quick wit and a knack for the perfect one-liner, often bringing a laugh to those around him. Jerry was an all-around good guy—someone you could count on when you needed him.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Chad Roberts and Shaun Roberts and Shaun’s wife, Tiffany; his grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew, Breelyn, Rylee, and Violet; and countless friends and loved ones whose lives were made better by knowing him.
Jerry will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his loyalty, and the way he made people feel at home. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
