Rodnal Lee Duhon, 64, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Rodnal was a devoted and faithful man who loved God and lived his life with a servant’s heart.
Rodnal was a proud member of the APA American Pool League Association and enjoyed spending his time “piddling” in his shop, working on lawnmowers, cars, and just about anything that needed fixing. He had a gift for tinkering and could fix nearly anything put in front of him. He also enjoyed camping and traveling, but more than anything, he cherished helping others. Whether it was lending a hand or offering his time, Rodnal was always there when someone needed him. His family was his greatest priority and the center of his world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rena Hunt of Vidor, TX; his children, LeAnn Wilson of Knoxville, TN, Christie Duhon of Louisville, TN, Tina Duhon of Lebanon, TN, and Jessica Mauboules and husband John of Kountze, TX; his stepdaughters, Sarah Hunt of Vidor, TX, Amanda Hunt of Galveston, TX, and Catherine Hunt of Houston, TX; his siblings, Nell Bailey and husband Jimmy of Vidor, TX, Ray Duhon and wife Jessie of Waco, TX, Cheryl England of Port Neches, TX, Lisa Huebel of Port Arthur, TX, Mona Williams and husband John Paul of Vidor, TX, and Neldon Duhon and wife Robbie of Cedar Park, TX; and his brother-in-law, Dicky Sims of Mauriceville, TX. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Gavin Wilson, Layla Luce, Launa Mauboules, and Luke Jeffcoat, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Rodnal was preceded in death by his parents, Raywerd and Enez Duhon, and his sister, Pat Sims.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his mother’s name.
