Firefighters from several agencies were called to a home in the 6200 block of Crosstimber Thursday around 1pm.
They arrived to find smoke coming from the home. They were able to get in and quickly put out a fire in the kitchen area.
The home also suffered some smoke and water damage. No one was inside at the time.
