
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats battled through the rain and defeated the Van Vleck Lady Leps 13-3 in six innings in a one-game playoff to advance to the regional semifinals for the fourth straight season.
Teal Kibodeaux got the win in the circle, allowing just 1 earned run on 3 hits while striking out 14.
Offensively, the Lady Bobcats totaled 6 hits and 9 walks. Aubree Gamblin led the way with a home run, a single, a walk, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker added 2 singles, a walk, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. Jocelyn Droddy had a single, 2 RBIs, and a run scored. Madi LaSalle recorded 2 singles, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Charlee Sanches drew 2 walks with an RBI and a run scored. Hannah Bisson had 2 walks, an RBI, and a run scored. Laila Agerton added a walk, and Paisley Reeves scored a run.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 35-1 overall and will face Grandview in the regional semifinals. Details TBA.
