
Cooper Bradley Woodrome, 3, of Vidor, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Though his time here was far too short, Cooper filled every moment with joy, laughter, and a love that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
A native of Beaumont and lifelong resident of Vidor, Cooper was a bright light with a big personality and an adventurous spirit. He loved tow trucks and could spot one from a mile away with excitement shining in his eyes. He enjoyed hunting adventures, catching frogs, playing baseball, and feeding the birds. Cooper had a sweet and curious nature that made every day special, and his smile could brighten even the darkest moments. He brought happiness to everyone around him and was deeply loved by his family.
He is survived by his loving parents, Chance and Katelynn Woodrome of Vidor, TX.
Cooper also leaves behind his cherished grandparents, Leslie “Gwee” Stephens of Vidor, TX, Jessica “Mimi” Smith of Vidor, TX, Toby “Boo Boo” Guidry of Vidor, TX, Jonathan “Pops” and Ashley “Lolli” Smith of Idaho Falls, ID, and Mike “Paw Paw” and Linsi “Nonna” Manuel of Vidor, TX, great-grandparents, Cindy “NaNa” Bertrand of Vidor, TX, Rose “NaNa” Cash of Vidor, TX, Judy “Gran” and Harold “Honey” Richard of Church Point, LA, Billy “Papa” Smith Jr. of Vidor, TX, Avery “Pepaw” and Leah “Nannie” Truitt of San Antonio, TX, and Gerry “Pawpaw” and Jackie “Nana J” Pickens of Vidor, TX. Rickey “Paw Paw Rickey” Smith.
He is also survived by Cameron “Unc” Woodrome, Dylan “Pickle” And Brandi Bertrand, uncle Trey and aunt Crystal Woodrome, aunt Bran and Bestfriend Remi, aunt Tynlea “Tyn” Smith, uncle Matt “Poopy” Smith, aunt Micha “MJ” Smith, Kristina “Nene” Pullen and Travis “Drunkel” Gentry, aunt Chrislyn “Bug” Jones, aunt Taylor “TT” Redmon, cousins Hailey “Say say” Stelly, uncle Kobe “Bubs” Smith and uncle Layton “Bubba” Manuel all of Vidor, TX.
Cooper’s precious life, though brief, touched countless hearts. He will be remembered for his laughter, his loving spirit, and the joy he brought into the lives of his family and friends. His memory will forever be treasured and carried lovingly in the hearts of those who loved him most.
