The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Peggy L. Degay, 63, of Orange, will be Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11am at the Pinehurst United Pentecostal Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Rites of Christian Burial will be held at Davis Cemetery in Bon Weir, Tx. Visitation will be from 10 until 11am.
Peggy Lynn Degay was born in Shreveport, LA, Thursday, March 28, 1963, to Ethel Fay (Lingo) McMillian and Huey Connerly McMillian. She died Thursday, July 30, 2026, in Orange, TX. Residing in Orange most her, she was a graduate of West Orange- Stark High School. She united in Holy Matrimony with Gregory Degay, Sr.
Family was her first love, and she always put them first with her time, concern, and love. Forever cherishing her memory are her husband, Gregory Degay, Sr., of Orange, son, Gregory Degay, Jr. (Haley) of Orange, daughter, Bobbie Bryant (Brandon) of Pineville, LA, brother, Benny McMillian and sister, Brenda McMillian, both of Orange, and 9 grandchildren.
