Orange County ESD3 — Little Cypress Fire & Rescue is looking for volunteers, and we’re looking right here in our own community.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be a certain age, size, or background. What you need is the willingness to show up when somebody in Little Cypress is having the worst day of their life.
THERE’S A JOB FOR EVERYBODY.
Not everybody is going to pull a hoseline through a front door — and that’s fine, because that’s not the only thing that has to happen on a scene. Somebody has to run the pump. Somebody has to change air bottles, set up rehab, direct traffic, work the radio, drive the truck, keep the equipment ready, and handle the paperwork that keeps this department running.
Young, old, big, small, fit or working on it — if you want to serve, we will find the right place for you. We’ll build the role around what you can do, not turn you away for what you can’t.
We put you through TCFP Fire Academy and help with your EMT-B cost.
That’s certification that stays with you for life. Thousands of dollars in training, paid for by your department, because we’d rather invest in our own people than hope somebody else does it for us. You bring the commitment — we’ll handle the rest.
What you get:
Free TCFP Fire Academy
Sponsor you for EMT-B reducing tuition.
All gear and equipment provided
A crew that will have your back for the rest of your life
Not everybody can do this job. But more people can than think they can.
