
Pairlee Smith Fawcett, age 82, of Vidor, Texas passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. Pairlee married the love of her life Leo Fawcett, in 1959 and have been married 67 years. Together they created a beautiful family and lived a wonderful life.
Pairlee spent most of her career working for Triple S Industrial. When she was not at work, she would work in the nursery at her church. She loved spending time with her family and traveling to different places with her loving husband. Pairlee always made sure that her loved ones knew that she was there for them and loved them no matter what. She always had good advice or even just a listening ear if someone needed it. Pairlee was loving, caring, and funny, will be missed deeply by everyone but will be remembered and lived on through our treasured memories that we made with her.
We know that Pairlee was welcomed with an abundance of love by her mother, Bessie Mae Hickman; Father, Cecil Ray Hickman; her daughter, Jenny Ruth Harrington; Mother-in-law, Jennie Coudrain Fawcett; Father-in-law, Robert L Fawcett; Brothers, James Smith and Larry Gibson; Sister-in law-Judy Gibson; Brother-in-law, Jerry Fawcett.
She is survived by her loving husband, Leo (Danny) Fawcett; her daughter Kim Galaviz and husband, Ricky, of Vidor, Texas; Son-in-law, James Harrington of Evadale, Texas; Son, Joe Reed and wife, Angie, of Vidor, Texas; Granddaughter Brandy Henley and husband, Johnathan, with their children, Jaxson, Asher, Penelope and Sullivan of Fannett, Texas; Granddaughter Trisha Wilson and husband, Chad, with their children Dani, Draiden and Jacob of Orange, Texas; Granddaughter Mandi Galaviz and significant other, Jordahn, of Orange, Texas; Grandson, Wesley Reed and wife Sarah, with their child Emberlyn, of Vidor, Texas; Grandson Robbie Reed and wife, Brenna with their children Alison and Matthew of Vidor, Texas; Sister-in-law, Sue Fawcett of Vidor, Texas; Sister-in-law, Gloria McCoy; Sister-in-law, Jerry Smith of Warren Texas; Sister-in-law Bonnie Allen and husband Niles of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Along with many nieces, nephews and other loved ones who will miss her deeply.
A gathering for Pairlee’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church, 490 Grand St, Vidor, Texas 77662. Interment will follow at Del Rose Cemetery, 635 Alamo St, Vidor, Texas 77662
