It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Nancy Lane Parker, who left this world peacefully at home on July 16, 2026. Born on July 2, 1941, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Nancy was the beloved daughter of David Emory Roberson and Annie Dale Mitchell. She graced this world with 85 years of love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nancy’s career in real estate spanned over four decades, a testament to her dedication, tenacity, and passion for helping others find their dream homes. Her colleagues and clients cherished her for her timeless beauty, grace, and elegance, alongside her remarkable ability to make everyone feel at ease with her outgoing personality.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nancy found joy in the warmth of her family and friends. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her loved ones, sharing stories, laughter, and the occasional adventure to the casino, where her vibrant spirit shone brightly.
Nancy leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward with reverence and love. She is survived by her cherished children, Kim & Randy Slagle, James & Sheryl Parker, and Dana & Wes Tumey. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren, Randall Slagle, Kristen Terech, Tyler Slagle, Heather Camp, Hannah Murphy, Hunter Tumey & Ciara Plemmons, and her seventeen great-grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her days.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox, located at 306 E Polk Street, Burnet, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman who touched countless lives.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Magnolia Hospice team for the compassionate care they provided Nancy in her final days. Special thanks are also due to Shaunda, Valerie, Christina, Lisa and Shawn, whose selfless dedication and watchful presence brought comfort and peace to Nancy and her family.
A special thanks to our little sister Dana for taking care of our mother over the past 3 years during her illness.
Nancy Lane Parker’s life was a testament to the beauty of love, the strength of family, and the power of kindness. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, on July 31, 2026, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
A private burial will take place at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
