Leblanc Heads To ULM
The University Louisiana Monroe volleyball program beefed up its roster by adding Orangefield's Kacey LeBlanc to their roster. A San Jacinto College transfer, LeBlanc comes to ULM with a wealth of experience at the Libero position. As a freshman, she led the team averaging 3.57 digs per set to go with nine service aces. The following season, LeBlanc was awarded Libero of the Year for Region XIV after posting 3.82 digs per set and 52 service aces. On Friday, June 19, 2015, around 1:57 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded along with Acadian Ambulance and the Bridge City Fire Department to the Orangefield Junior High School on Sandbar Road in Orangefield, Orange County, Texas, in reference to a person who was electrocuted. On arrival, Deputies learned that an electrical crew working for a contractor was doing work for the school on a new air conditioning unit.
