Our sweet little angel Karsyn Joyce Leggett was born June 12, 2015 and returned to our Lord on the same day. She will forever be cherished by her parents, Adam and Samantha Leggett; big brother Jackson; grandparents, Ted and Stephanie Leggett; grandparents, Randy and Brenda Temple and a large loving family. Harold Tally, 77, of Orange, a former resident of Bridge City, passed away on June 12, 2015, at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Bunch and Mr. Mike Blakeney reading the eulogy. Honorary pallbearers will be the Stark High School Class of 1956. Lamar pitcher Chase Angelle was named to the All-Southland Conference Academic first team. Angelle was Lamar’s best pitcher for the season on a 2.01 earned run average and team-leading five wins and strikeouts (65). He moved into seventh place on LU’s career ERA list at 2.86 and led the SLC in complete games (5) and was sixth in innings pitched (98.2). Former WOS Mustang J'Marcus Rhodes, announced on Twitter that he's joining his third team in as many seasons. The three-star prospect from Kilgore College, announced his intentions to join the Arizona State football team. According to an interview with The State Press Rhodes, a cornerback, is large for the position, with a 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame that coach Todd Graham said would make him the "biggest corner he's ever coached."
