The driver of this pickup truck and the occupants are considered lucky after it caught fire following an accident. First responders got the call around 3:30pm Saturday on FM 1130 near Amrock Rd. in Mauriceville. They arrived to find the truck fully engulfed and a man sitting on the ground nearby. Man Found Deceased In Vehicle
Tuesday morning Pinehurst Police received a call about a nonresponsive man in a red truck in the parking lot of the Marketplace Shopping Center. Police arrived and attempts were made to wake him but to no avail. He was later pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Joy Dubose-Simonton. Pinehurst PD Lt.
