Michael Glynn Sepulvado, age 63, passed away in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Services will be on Thursday, June 30th, at 2:00 PM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Ebarb, Louisiana with The Very Reverend Timothy Hurd V.F. officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Michael was born in Orange, Texas on March 18, 1953 to George Marlon Sepulvado and Ann Smith Sepulvado. Michael graduated from West Orange High School in 1971. Gerald graduated from Bridge City High School and married the love of his life, Ethel Breaux, June 7, 1964. Robert Allen “Bobby” Cart, 66, of Orange passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. He was a member of the Orange West Congregation Kingdom Hall. Bobby never considered himself disabled, he never let anything stand in his way. He retired from Honeywell after 32 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and in his younger days, he was great at water skiing. He excelled at carpentry, specializing in cabinet making. Vidor Man Arrested In Diboll
A Vidor man was arrested in Diboll after being charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a disabled woman with the mental development of a child. His girlfriend, Janice Caswell, was arrested Tuesday in Newton on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a disabled individual. She is accused of setting up the sexual encounters with the 24-year-old disabled woman. KTRE reports Diboll police filed charges against54-year-old William Thomas Walley on Friday. Carpenter Pleads Guilty
A 35-year-old man agreed to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to robbery in connection with an invasion on a sleeping couple in a house last year. Jules Carpenter pleaded guilty to the charge Monday before 128th State District Judge Courtney Arkeen. He had been set for a trial. Assistant District Attorney Phillip Smith said the plea also has Carpenter paying a $1,000 fine. Pickup Forces Motorcycle into Ditch, Leaves Scene
A 42-year-old Port Arthur woman was injured Sunday afternoon when a pickup truck ran the motorcycle she was driving off the Interstate 10 access road near Happy Home Drive. The motorcycle when into a ditch and the driver was thrown off. Orange police report the driver of the pickup truck did not stop to help and left the scene. The woman was Shalina Allen and she was taken by Acadian Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-incapacitating injuries, Orange police report. Woman Reports Gun Fired at Car
A woman told Orange police a man in a red car fired shots at her car on 16th Street at Interstate 10 Friday afternoon. She went to the police station at 4:48 p.m. Friday to report the incident. She told Officer S.J. Mulhollan she was traveling northbound and was stopped at the red light. A red Dodge Magnum almost hit the rear of her car. The Bridge City High School cheerleaders recently attended NCA camp at T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfels. The varsity squad was awarded several superior ribbons for daily evaluations, the Herkie Team Award, a Spirit Stick each night, a bid to Nationals, the SAFE Stunt award, Champion Chant, and Performance Top Team.
