Bridge City Police report that Monday morning around 9am, an accident occurred in the 2100 block of Texas Ave. when a 4 door Mercury pulled in front of a small Ford pick up. The truck struck the Mercury on the drivers side door. The driver of the pick up a 17 year old female, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car, 87 year old Glenn Bradley, died as a result of his injuries. Bradley, "Mr. Glenn" will be missed by many. Orange Weekend Police Reports
A 21-year-old woman originally arrested for public intoxication Friday night faces additional charges for resisting arrest with Orange police and later head-butting an Orange County corrections officer. Orange Patrol Officer D.B. Mulhollan reported the woman told him she had taken a "molly" (ecstasy). He said the woman called 9-1-1 from apartments at 2600 Allie Payne Road at 7:53 p.m. Friday.
