LUKE, which is the abbreviation for Let Us Know Everything, is a 311 system which will allow citizens to contact Bridge City about problems with municipal services. City Manager Jerry Jones said Bridge City has placed signs throughout the city to inform citizens of the new service available to them. Jones has tested the new system and it does seem to be working as advertised. Sidney W. Ross, Jr, age 92, died on Monday June 5th, 2017 in Tucson Arizona. He was born on June 11, 1924 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late Sidney Wiley Ross, Sr. and Thelma Molpus. FFB Starts Construction In July
First Financial Bank is preparing for a July ground-breaking to begin construction on a new regional office. The front of the building will face the intersection of 16th Street and Park Avenue on the southeast side. Stephen Lee of Orange, president and CEO of First Financial Southeast said the bank recently closed the land purchase of the vacant lots from the Stark Foundation.
