Four teams played their Tuesday games on Monday to avoid the winter storm.
The Orangefield Bobcats travelled to take on the Warren Warriors in a district matchup. The Bobcats were able to maintain their focus through schedule and time changes due to the weather and get the win! Orangefield came out on top 66-47. The Bobcats were led by Jaden Scales with 13 points and 4 assists. Rylan Agerton with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Nick Rogers with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots. Carson Willis chipped in 11 points and 4 rebounds. That brings the district record to 6-2 and Orangefield is scheduled to be back in action against Kirbyville on Friday at home.
The OF Lady Bobcats secured another district win over the Warren Lady Warriors with the final being 57-33. Olivia Smith worked hard down low in the paint to get 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals. Mikayla Locke also had a good game with her 18 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals. Finally, Brooklyn Wagoner had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. This puts the Lady Bobcats district record to 8-2. The Lady Bobcats will take on the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats on Friday at home. JV will start at 4:30pm and varsity will follow.
