
United Way of Orange County will host the Orange United Conference on Wednesday, October 28, bringing nonprofit staff, board members, volunteers and community partners together for a full day focused on strengthening local organizations and building community.
The one-day conference will feature experienced nonprofit professionals and speakers addressing topics relevant to organizations of all sizes, including nonprofit leadership, board governance, artificial intelligence, grant writing, marketing and branding, volunteer engagement, and local nonprofit resources.
Featured sessions include “The Power of Purpose: Celebrating Nonprofit Impact” with Roxanne Jones of United Ways of Texas; “Working Smarter with AI: Practical Tools for Small Nonprofits” with Chris Cheetham-West; “Make Your Grant Application Stand Out” with Dr. Colton Strawser; and sessions on nonprofit boards and marketing and branding.
The conference will also provide opportunities for networking and connecting attendees with local nonprofit resources, including the SETX Volunteer Portal and SETX Nonprofit Development Center.
