Miranda “Panda” Aline McGaughey, 26, of Vidor, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Hemphill, Texas, Miranda was a longtime resident of Vidor. She worked in carpentry and construction, where she was known for her strong work ethic and determination.
In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, playing in pool leagues, and spending time at the beach. Above all, she cherished her 4 boys and the moments she shared with them.
She is survived by her children, Grayson Moore, Daxton Rollins, and Isiah Wilkerson, all of Vidor; her mother, Chrystalina Hannon of Vidor; her father, James McGaughey of Hemphill; and her siblings, Brandon Rexroat of Trinity, David Snelgrove of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joshua McGaughey of Hemphill, and Savannah Segrest of Lufkin. She was preceded in death by her son, Xayden Wilkerson, and her grandmother, Susan Soper. Miranda will be remembered for her love of life, her hardworking spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.
