Dale James Rose II, 59, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1967, in Port Arthur, Texas, to the late Dale James Rose and Shirley Jean Rose Heard.
Dale was the eldest of three children, growing up alongside his sister, Kim, and his brother, Daniel. He was a devoted son and a caring brother, known for his quiet strength and the deep love he held for his family.
He shared a lifelong connection with his high school sweetheart, Melinda Kay Risinger Rose. Though life took them on separate paths for a time, they found their way back to one another, reconnecting and marrying in June 2024. Their reunion was a meaningful fulfillment of a love that had endured through the years.
Dale worked as a registered nurse, a profession that reflected his desire to care for others. However, he quietly carried personal struggles with mental health that deeply affected his ability to care for himself. Despite these challenges, those who knew him remember the compassion he showed and the sincerity of his heart.
On an early Thursday morning, Dale took his final walk on this earth. While his passing leaves a profound sense of loss, there is comfort in believing he is now at peace—restored, whole, and experiencing the grace and forgiveness that may have felt out of reach during his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Kay Risinger Rose; his mother, Shirley Jean Rose Heard; his sister, Kim Brack and her husband, Darwin Brack; his brother, Daniel Rose and his wife, Mary Beth Rose; along with extended family and loved ones who will continue to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale James Rose.
A private service will be held by the family.
