Larry George Cole, 77, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at his residence. Born in Ada, Oklahoma, Larry was a longtime resident of Vidor. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict. Larry spent most of his working years as a brick mason, a trade he took great pride in. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, creating pieces that reflected his skill and patience. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Smith of Vidor, TX; his children, James Middleton and wife Jamie of Vidor, TX, Raymond Middleton (Tasha) of Vidor, TX, Shannon Schild and husband John of Vidor, TX, and Anthony Cole and wife Amanda of New Orleans, LA; his brother, Gary Cole of Cleveland, TN; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son David Middleton, father, Glyn Cole; his mother, Irene Cole; and his sisters, Joann Stuart and Anita Erikson. Larry will be remembered for his hardworking nature, dedication to his family, and the legacy he built with his hands and heart.
