The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Huntington Devilettes 10-5 in game 1 of the bi-district series. Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound giving up giving up 2 earned runs on 6 hits with 11 strikeouts.
Aubree Gamblin led the way with 2 doubles, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker collected her 200th career hit as a Lady Bobcat with a bases loaded triple in the bottom of the 6th inning. Laila Agerton had a 2 run homerun, a walk and 2 runs scored. Jocelyn Droddy had an RBI. Paisley Reeves had 2 hits with a run scored. Teal Kibodeaux added a double, a single, and 2 runs scored. Hannah Bisson had a walk and a run scored. Charlee Sanches had a walk, an RBI, and a run scored. Madi LaSalle had an RBI and a run scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 33-1 on the year and take game 1 of the series. They will travel to Cleveland Friday with game 2 beginning at 6:00.

Hudson 3 LCM 1 – The Lady Bears outhit the Hornets 6-3 but all three Hornet runs were scored on three LCM errors. Tessa Erickson threw a complete game three hitter with 4K’s and 4 walks. Kinsley Doucet had two of LCM’s hits and Brylie Jones drove in their only run.
Game 2 of the series is Friday in Jasper at 6pm. Gm. 3 is Saturday at 4p

Bullard 10 Vidor 0 (6) – The young Pirates dug a hole early giving up 9 runs in the first two innings. They committed seven errors against the state ranked Panthers. Avery Harrington and Tylen Cassell had the only two hits.
