Germaine Sue Louviere was born September 2, 1942, and passed away August 4, 2026, at the age of 83.
Germaine was a kind and compassionate woman whose genuine care for others touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a warm heart, a gentle spirit, and a way of making people feel valued and loved. She also had a passion for traveling, especially taking cruises, where she enjoyed exploring new places and creating lasting memories.
Above all, Germaine loved her family. She treasured the time they spent together and found her greatest joy in the love they shared. She will be remembered for her kindness, generous heart, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Lesley Bearden and Michael Louviere; brother, Virge Poole; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Jaunita Poole; brothers, Marvin Poole and Lynn Poole; and her beloved dog, Bella.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2026, at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas. Interment to follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery, Orange, Texas.
