The Milwaukee Brewers optioned Anderson to Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday to make room on the active roster for left-hander Kyle Harrison, who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Anderson, 29, has been a reliable contributor out of the bullpen this season, posting a 3.70 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP over 48.2 innings. Given his solid performance, the Brewers say he may not be in Nashville long.

The Toronto Blue Jays optioned Chad Dallas to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, one day after pitching in relief against the Houston Astros. He came into the game in the third inning after an injury forced starter Trey Yesavage out of the contest.
Dallas started well but surrendered six runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out three over three innings in Tuesday’s game. The 26-year-old was recalled from Triple-A on July 29 and also may not be in Buffalo long.
Toronto recalled Chase Lee from Buffalo to fill Dallas’ spot on the active roster.
