
Geneva Lou Humberson, 73, of Vidor, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2026, at her residence.
Born in Mayfield, Kentucky, Geneva made Vidor her home for many years and was a cherished member of the community. She was a faithful member of Turning Point Church in Vidor, where she formed many lasting friendships and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Geneva retired as a sales agent with American National Insurance Company after many years of dedicated service.
Geneva enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved gathering with friends to play dominoes, especially with her church family, and never passed up an opportunity to visit the casinos for a little fun and excitement. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, friendly spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Geneva is survived by her sons, Rex Humberson and wife, Lorie, of Vidor, Texas, and Benjie Humberson and wife, Brandi, of Vidor, Texas; her sister, Beverly Burrell of Fannett, Texas; six grandchildren, Aiden, Layla, Laci, Laini, Jace, and Drew; one great-grandson; and numerous other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
Geneva’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Visitation is Monday, July 20, 2026 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Turning Point Church, 3600 N. Main St., Vidor, TX 77662. Services will follow at 2pm.
