Robert “Booger” Dwayne McClendon, 52, of Kirbyville, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 at his home.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at Trout Creek Baptist Church with burial at Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Newton. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
Born June 15th, 1974 in Orange, Texas to Robert McClendon and Barbara (Beal), he was a lifelong resident of Kirbyville and worked at Jasper Newton Electric Cooperative as a warehouse manager. He loved his work, his wife, and his kids immensely. He loved looking at the moon and admiring God’s creation. He was the quietest man in the room with the biggest mission. He was absolutely the best husband, dad, and friend. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel comfortable. He was our Boog.
He is survived by his wife, Harvest McClendon; sons, Caster Brandon and Sydney, Collin Brandon and Kahlie; daughter, Morgan McClendon and Zack; brother, Daren McClendon; sisters, Dena Riley, Desiarea McClendon; grandson, Tanner Brandon.
