As of Sunday, Orange County is one of 76 counties in Texas not under a Burn Ban despite the dry 100 degree days we’ve been having over the past two weeks. Jefferson, Hardin, Liberty, and Jasper County are also on that list.
Southeast Texas is actually doing well with wildfires as of Sunday. There are no active wildfires in the area or all of the south according to the Texas Forestry Service.
