Kenneth Wayne Bost, 55, was found guilty on Friday, May 1 of Indecency with a Child and Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. The jury in the case sentenced him to prison for two years for indecency with a child and 25 years for continuous sexual abuse conviction. He will serve the 25 with no possibility of parole.
It was on July 1, 2024 that two child victims reported the sexual abuse against the former OC Sheriff’s Deputy. One of the children said he had touched her inappropriately on that date which led the second child to say she had been sexually abused by Bost for at least five years. Both children testified in the trial.
The case was investigated by the Texas Rangers and the OCSO. The case was prosecuted by Asst. District Attorney Reese Rhodes with the help of Victim’s Assistance Coordinator Rebecca Patterson Smith.
