This week Louis Joseph Goodeaux, 50, pled guilty to two cases of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in the 163rd District Court. Goodeaux elected to have the court assess punishment.
After a hearing held on April 16, the court sentenced him to 40 years confinement in prison with each case to run concurrently.
Back on April 6, 2024, Goodeaux and Christopher Glassey, used a wooden stick and a torch to beat and burn two victims inside of a home in West Orange.
The two video recorded the assaults, which were used as evidence against each defendant. Glassey was sentenced to 30 years back on August 12, 2025.
