Bears, Cards, Bobcats, Deweyville Head To Playoffs
LCM beat Vidor in three (23, 21, 19). The Lady Bears head into their warm-up game 31-13 (10-2 in district) before the playoffs begin. It was also senior night for the three Lady Bear seniors: Lindi Perry, Jazel Guilbeaux, Janniliz Nazario, and Ava White.

LCM Freshmen won in 2. They finished the season 18-8 (10-2 in district to finish runner up). LCM JV won in two. They finished the season 27-4 and undefeated district champions at 12-0.

BC beat Jasper 19-13-13. The Lady Cards move on to the postseason. BC will have a warm up at Splendora Friday and then open the playoffs Tuesday vs Rusk at Kirbyville.

Tuesday night was filled with “We Believe” energy as the Lady Bobcats swept the Anahuac Lady Panthers on all levels.
The varsity team secured their spot for the playoffs, finishing 4th in district after defeating the Lady Panthers in 4 sets. Ava Walker led the team in kills, stacking up 16. Charlee Sanches and Haylee Spears collected 9 each with Mikayla Locke nipping at their heels with 8, and Paisley Reeves getting 5. Hannah Block grabbed herself 28 digs which brought her career total to 920, surpassing her goal that she set for herself. Eliese Gravett contributed 12 digs with Sophia Marino having 11 and Addisyn Moore 10, Ava Walker with 9 and Mikayla Locke with 8. Front row did a great job tonight blocking as well. Brennah Lee and Spears led with 3 and Reeves had 2. The Lady Bobcats will play a warm-up game at home this Friday against Silsbee starting at 4:30. The first round playoff game is TBD.
The junior varsity Lady Bobcats followed up by winning in 2 high energy sets. Two seemed to be the magical number when it came to aces. These came from Brynn Borel, Teal Kibodeaux, Karlie Traxler, and Addison Mouton. Kibodeaux led her team in kills, collecting 6 while Borel had 4. Mouton had 18 digs followed by Amelia McFatter with 11. Traxler led in assists on the night with 8 while Nicole Gay had 7.
The Freshmen started the night by winning in 3 sets to finish undefeated in district play. Leading the team in aces was Jocelyn Droddy with 5, followed closely by Kenely Copeland with 4 and Aspyn Gay with 3. Leading in the kill department was Emma Bufford with 7. Maya Manning and Aspen Babin each had 3 while Ava Josephson, Kinsley Moore, Aspyn Gay and Jocelyn Droddy all had 2. Madilynn LaSalle led defense with 6 digs followed closely by Copeland with 4. Droddy had 12 assists on the night and Copeland had 8.
