Congratulations to Little Cypress-Mauriceville’s Matthew Huckaby on being named the TASSP Region 5 High School Assistant Principal of the Year.
Huckaby was nominated and selected by regional leaders in recognition of his dedication, leadership, and commitment to students and staff. In addition to his work at LCM High School, he has served as a mentor to assistant principals throughout the region.
LCMHS Principal Amber Hawk praised Huckaby’s loyalty, dedication, and willingness to serve wherever needed, noting that much of his work takes place behind the scenes and helps keep the school operating smoothly.
School officials expressed gratitude for Huckaby’s service to LCM and said they are proud to see his hard work and contributions recognized with the regional honor.
