Silsbee 10 Vidor 7 – The game was tied at two going into the fourth when the Tigers reeled off eight straight runs to take a 10-2 lead in the sixth. The Pirates would add two in the bottom of the sixth and three in the seventh to make it interesting.
Kolt Holden and Rylan Chesser homered for the Pirates. Blake Safer an Tanner Hanks had two hits each. Silsbee had three hitters with three hits each (Morris, Hugh, and Potts) as the Tigers tallied 14 hits.
The game was moved to Bridge City because of rain earlier in the day. The two will play in Silsbee Friday.

The Bridge City Lady Cards advance to the second round of the 4AD2 playoffs after a 9-1 win over Madisonville in New Caney.
Cambree LaComb gave up no earned runs on four hits in six innings with five strikeouts and three walks. Kennadee Sheffield pitched a scoreless seventh.
Offensively, BC jumped out early leading 5-0 after two. Peyton Dupuis doubled in Ella Droddy in the first to get the scoring started. The big blow came in the fifth when Kaylynne Christian sent one over the centerfield fence to score two.
Christian finished the night 2-3 with 3RBI’s. Droddy was 2-2 with 2RBI’s, 2 walks and 2 runs scored. Sheffield was 2-3 with 2 runs scored.
BC will play the winner between Hamshire-Fannett and Wheatley.
