Early Sunday morning the driver of an 18 wheeler carrying a reported 50,000 pounds of bees failed to negotiate a turn on Colony Lane near FM1130.
Residents in the area were told it was best to stay inside while first responders were attempting to round up beekeepers in the area to help offload the bees onto another truck.
No injuries were reported to the driver and they were still on scene as of 11:30am.
