Alyssa Marjolene Messina, age 21, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, following a tragic motor vehicle accident in Beaumont, Texas.
Alyssa was born on September 4, 2005, to Joseph and Robin Messina. She graduated from Vidor High School in 2024. Alyssa brought light and joy to everyone who knew her with her wonderful sense of humor and kind heart. Her smile and energetic spirit were contagious; she truly lived life to the fullest and was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She also held a special love for her dogs, Milly and Ivy, who were never far from her side. Though her life was tragically cut short, her memory will be cherished forever by her family, friends, and community.
Alyssa is survived by her parents, Joseph and Robin Messina; her brother, Hunter Messina, and his wife, Gabrielle; and her beloved nieces, Vivian and Varrah. She is also survived by her grandparents, Robert and Joan Stankovich; her aunts and uncles, Robert and Laura Stankovich, Mike and Patricia Stankovich, Shawn and Alexandra Messina, and Crystal Sollock and the late Katy Sollock; as well as her cousins, Skylar Stankovich, Brody Stankovich, Liam Stankovich, Christina Hughes, Tommy Leicht, Alexis Wilson, Shawn Messina Jr., and Valerie Garcia, alongside many other dear friends and extended family members.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Turning Point Church in Vidor, TX, on Friday, September 25, 2026. Visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 pm, followed by funeral services.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation for the community’s overwhelming support during this difficult time.
