The Lady Bears travelled to Lumberton for a big district match and they came home with the win12-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-12, 15-7. Coach Johnathan Snipes said, “Lumberton played really well to start. They had a good game plan and executed very well. We got off to a shaky start and didn’t really start to play well until the end of the third set. We started to clean up our ball control, communication, and execution going into the forth set. Any win in district is a big win. These girls are extremely resilient and competitive. They are so much fun when they get locked in.”
