Theresa Coe was born on November 2, 1944, in Waco, TX and passed peacefully on August 16, 2026, in Orange, TX.
She is survived by her daughters, Carla Sonnenberg and husband, Jimmy, Cindy McClain and husband, Keith, Cathe Jo and Christy Cessna and husband, Roger; grandchildren, Kevin Moody and wife, Amber, Courtney Powell and husband Preston, Carly Tanksley and husband, Kyle, Luke Pilant and wife, Crystal, Anna Laura Tisdale and husband, Peyton, Lance Pilant and wife, Diana, Courtney Atherton, Kendall Brookshire and husband, Lane, Meagan Smith and husband, Michael, Nathan Sonnenberg, Hannah Garcia and husband, Roman; fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Patrick McNulty and mother, Lily Gilbert; husband, Rev. Carl Wayne Coe and four sisters.
Theresa was a very loving, kind and vibrant person. She was a loyal friend to all who knew her and loved to laugh and have a wonderful time. A godly, prayerful and righteous woman, she served alongside her husband at New Life Worship Center in McGregor, TX, for many years. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Orange where she was involved with ladies’ prayer meeting. She enjoyed having lunch on Sunday afternoon with her friends.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 12:00 P.M-1:00 P.M with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. at First United Pentecostal Church of Orange, 3406 Edgar Brown Dr., Orange, Tx. 77630. Rev Gary Wheeler will be officiating. A graveside service will be held, Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1:00 P.M at Riesel Cemetery in Riesel, TX.
