The City of Orange Narcotics Division and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division concluded a joint investigation into 39 year old Bryan Cordale Nicholas, who was suspected of distributing cocaine throughout Orange County. As a result of the investigation, investigators obtained an arrest warrant charging Nicholas with First-Degree Felony Distribution of Cocaine.
While executing the arrest warrant, Nicholas attempted to flee from officers on foot but was apprehended after a brief pursuit. During the arrest, officers discovered Nicholas to be in possession of cocaine. Nicholas was arrested on the outstanding warrant and additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Following the arrest, investigators executed a search warrant for Nicholas’ residence in the 2000 block of Melwood Drive in Orange. During the search of the residence, investigators located and seized additional quantities of cocaine. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence is reviewed.
