
Silsbee 7 LCM 3 – Bears had a 3-1 lead after two before the Tigers (6-1) started liking the odd innings with 2 in the third, 3 in the fifth, and 1 in the seventh. R. Blythe came into the game in the third and held the Bears to just one hit over the last 4 innings. Clay Raney had two of the (3-4) Bears six hits.
Shoutout to Kale Broussard who had 3 hits and 7 RBIs in the 18-2 Freshmen win over Silsbee.

Bridge City 13 Jasper 2 (5) – Max Pachar, B Denison, and Slade Herman held Jasper to two runs on two hits on Senior Night. Ashton Sumrall was 2-2 with 3RBI’s and CJ Riojas was 2-3 as the Cards finished with 10 hits in the game.

Orangefield 8 Buna 3 – Bobcats won on the road to improve to 10-0 in district. Kaysen Click was 4-4 with 2 RBI’s and Cole Sanches was 3-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s. Kaleb Menard started and Carson Gonzales finished and the two combined to strike out 12 Cougars.

SOFTBALL
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats grabbed their 30th win of the season with a 6-1 win over the Warren Warriors. Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound giving up 1 run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts.
Hallee Becker led the offense with a single, a double, a triple, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Aubree Gamblin had 2 doubles with 3 RBIs. Teal Kibodeaux added 2 doubles with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Hannah Bisson had a single and a run scored. The Lady Bobcats improve to 30-1 overall and 12-0 in district play and will host Buna this Friday for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night beginning at 6:00.

Lumberton 12 WOS 3 – K Yelling was 2-4 with an RBI for WOS and B Evans also brought in a run going 1-1 with a walk.

BC 13 Jasper 2 – Kennadee Sheffield was 4-4 with 2RBI’s and Kaitlyn Juneau went 3-4 with 3 doubles and 3RBI’s. Sheffield also split time in the circle with Cambree LaComb and struck out 8 Bulldogs.

Silsbee 6 LCM 4 – The Lady Bears lost a heartbreaker. They took a 4-3 lead in the eighth after Ashley Garza doubled to drive in Embree Ewing. In the bottom of the eighth Silsbee was down to their final strike when starter Tessa Erickson hit the batter to put one on. The next batter reached on an error by Kendall Jones. And then Shelby Crosson walked it off with a 3run homer.
