
Four Orange County teams took the field Thursday looking to advance to the next round. Orangefield and Vidor baseball still have a shot.
Gm.1 – Orangefield 6 Boling 0
Carson Gonzales threw a complete game giving up just 2 hits with 6K’s and just 3 walks. Senior Matt Johnson was 2-2 with an RBI and two walks.
Gm.2 – Boling 3 Orangefield 2 (10 innings)
The Bulldogs tied the series at one with a walk off single in the 10th. Kaleb Menard and Kaysen Click combined to strike out 17 Bulldogs. At the plate Menard was 2-4 with 2RBI’s. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at 5:30pm.

Gm. 1 – Huffman 4 Vidor 3
The game saw several lead changes before the Falcons walked it off in the bottom of the seventh. Cade Safer was 2-3 with 2 RBI’s. Brooks Burns pitched a CG giving up 2 earned runs on right hits with 5K’s and three walks. Game Two of the series is Friday.

Grandview 3 Orangefield 1
The defending 3AD1 champs beat Orangefield in a one game playoff, giving the Lady Bobcats just their second loss of the season. University of Texas signee Madi Doty threw a no hitter and struck out 14. The Bobcats end the season 35-2.
Salado 6 Bridge City 0 (one game playoff)
Salado scored four in the first inning to put the Lady Cards in a hole and then they backed it up with pitcher Avery Dunlap who threw a perfect game with 16K’s. BC ends the season 20-19.
