Susan Jane Guidry was born December 27, 1955, and passed away May 26, 2026, at the age of 70.
Susan was the heart of her family and a source of comfort, love, and strength to everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to caring for others, always placing the needs of her family and loved ones before her own. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering support made her a true caregiver in every sense of the word.
She found joy in bringing people together, especially around the kitchen table. Cooking was one of her greatest expressions of love, and her meals created lasting memories for family and friends alike. Whether preparing a holiday feast or a simple homemade dinner, she made everyone feel welcome, cared for, and at home.
Above all else, she cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence filled every room with warmth and laughter. Her love was unconditional, her advice heartfelt, and her hugs unforgettable.
She is survived by children, Brian Guidry (Mary), Melissa Roy (Jon), and Jason Guidry; grandchildren, Kristi Cart, Brianna Cart, Faith Guidry, Zade Roy (Makenzie), Caden Roy (Breonna), Greyson Guidry, and Hadlie Guidry; and sister-in-law, Alisha Guillory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Guillory; and siblings, Ted Guillory, Brenda Powell, and Al Guillory.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Landmark United Pentecostal Church, 2115 Nall Street, Port Neches, Texas. Rev. James Lee and Rev Matt Smith will be officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Orange, Texas.
