LCM went 4-0 in the Jarrell Tournament and ended with an 7-0 win over Lago Vista Saturday. Parker Seago got the win (6K in 5innings) and also tripled and drove in a run. Jacob Scheiderer and Parker Freeman also drove in two runs each.
The Bridge City Cardinals wrapped up the Jasper Tournament with a 13-0 (4 inning) win over Livingston. Carson Bounds got things going with a grand slam in the first. Connor Riojas continued swinging a hot bat with a 3-3 and 3RBI performance. Owen Tucker got the win with a 2 hit shutout with 4K’s and no walks.
Orangefield pummeled Holland 14-1. Matthew Johnson singled, doubled and tripled in the game, driving in 2 runs. The Bobcats (11-2) scored 8 in the first and ended the game with 2 in the fourth.
Vidor beat Carthage 6-2 in the Jasper Tournament. J. Brucia was 2-3 with 2RBI’s. B. Burns struck out 8 in 6 innings for the win.
Warren beat WOS 5-2. Mustangs had a 2-1 lead but the Warriors scored 4 in the last inning.
