Patricia Louise Wardell, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, just days before her 87th birthday. She was born on June 2, 1939, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
A gifted seamstress and quilter, she found great joy in creating beautiful quilts and handmade treasures for family and friends. Her creativity, patience, and loving hands produced countless keepsakes that will continue to comfort those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Paul Wardell and wife Sandy, Carol Wetherington and husband Robert J., Phil Wardell, and Jan Wardell. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl E Wardell; parents, Ernest and Sarah Nelson; and other cherished family members who welcomed her into eternal rest.
A private Inurnment will be held at Mizpah Cemetery, Platteville, Colorado.
