
Chad Dallas has earned his call to the major leagues, as the Toronto Blue Jays promoted the right-handed pitcher ahead of this week’s series against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. He received the call on Lou Gehrig Day nearly a year after his father, Tony, passed from ALS.”
Selected by Toronto in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft, Dallas steadily climbed through the Blue Jays’ minor league system. Over 70 professional appearances, including 68 starts, he has logged 314 innings with a 4.56 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 12 victories.
Since joining Triple-A Buffalo in 2024, Dallas has made 24 appearances and 22 starts for the Bisons. After missing the entire 2025 season due to injury, he returned this year and posted a 4.50 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 10 appearances, including eight starts.
