The Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a two-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 10, west of Orange, that occurred Monday, March 30, 2026. The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 4:12 a.m., a 2021 Jeep Cherokee was traveling west, while a 2024 Kenworth towing a 2025 Hyundai trailer was parked on the west bound shoulder of I.H. 10. The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Kountze Lady Lions 10-0 in 5 innings to improve to 11-0 in district play and celebrate a great turnout for Youth Night!  Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound giving up 1 hit in 4 innings with 9 strikeouts.
