Stark Museum Annex Moving Along
Rain and bad weather has hampered construction of the Stark Museum of Art annex, but the opening could be in the late spring, according to Gus Harris, chief properties officer for the Stark Foundation. "The weather has not been our friend on this project," he said. "We've had delays last sometimes two weeks." Harris said the building is currently on target to be completed in May. Low Income Housing Opens In WO
The City of West Orange, the Orange Housing Authority, and the Itex Group held a joint ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday at the new Whispering Oaks Apartments. About 50 people attended the ceremony. The low to moderate income complex includes 70 apartments in five buildings with a separate clubhouse facility. Whispering Oaks is located at the site of a former public housing project in West Orange. The Orange Housing Authority hired Itex to construct the apartments.
