Terry “T. W.” Harrington, age 53, a resident of Vidor, Texas, was born on April 16, 1964 and passed away on May 24, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his children, Terry Wayne Harrington, Cassandra Harrington, Shannon Harrington and Noah Harrington all of Vidor, Texas along with four grandsons, Levi Nash, Logan Nash, Lucas Nash and Danny Jones. Hickory reliever Jake Lemoine picked up his third save of the season Saturday when he got Jose Gomez to fly out with two runners on. The Hickory Crawdads beat the Asheville Tourists 6-4. Lemoine, a Bridge City grad, pitches for the Crawdads are a Class A team located in Hickory, North Carolina. They are in the South Atlantic League, and have been a farm team of the Texas Rangers since 2009. SHERIFF’S REPORT 05/29/2017 Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to all the veteran’s for their service. Had a car stolen in Kirbyville and it was located here in Newton County. The driver hit the woods on us. We spent several hours looking for him. No luck, but we know who he was. We are getting a warrant. Several people were floating down Big Cow Creek and got lost.
