Tuesday night the Orange Youth Baseball 9 year old All-Stars became the first Orange All-Star team in some 50 years to play under the Little League banner. They joined the LL Organization this season after many years in the Pony Organization. LL District 32 Director Jerry McInnis was on hand to welcome Orange to Little League family. The game almost didn’t happen after several downpours during the day. Kudos to the board, coaches, and grounds crew for getting the field playable.
The 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds will have All-Star teams competing. The brackets are below.
The 9yo team lost a tough one Tuesday to Hamshire-Fannett 11-10. They will play at Groves Wednesday in the double elimination tournament.
The team consists of Noah Robles, Luke Leblanc, Kaiden Skiles, Rylan Vandiver, Slayden Peevey, Donnie Henderson, Cooper Smith, Colt Dryden, Drelin Jasso, and Brayden Wilcox. The manager is Kenard Huft.
