On Saturday, the OHS choir competed in the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition at Hargrave HS. 16 students attended and 14 earned superior ratings including 8 state qualifiers.
Excellent ratings were earned by sophomore Crissa Spell and senior Madison Trammell. Freshmen Aaliyah Cormier, Ayden Dickey, Donna Hall and Jaspar Parasan earned Superior ratings on class 2 solos.
Sophomores Trista Gray and Alexis Sonnier also earned superior ratings on their class 2 solos.
